Infographic...

Blog Post of the Day:

Use the internet to find an infographic about infographics. Place it in to your blog post. Read it and then give me the top 5 things you learned from it that will help you make a better infographic.

In the last 2 years making infographics has increased. What is interesting to me is that 20% of people will remember what they read and 80% remember what they see. Also that once your done with your infographic post it everywhere so more people will read it.  On those websites that people will post  their infographic there are 77% businesses-consumer companies that could look at  it . Therefore, you should make sure your infographic is the best it can be.

My weekend...

Blog Post of the Day:

Tell me about your weekend. Give me a story, something funny that happened, an experiencing you had, the way you felt, etc. Include photos!

This weekend  was fun we got to celebrate my  16th birthday at my moms. My birthday is on March 2nd, so these two months have been crazy. Usually i have my birthday party the weekend after my birthday, but this time weekend after my birthday is relay for life. Then the weekend after that is spring break, so I have to do it the weekend before my birthday or this coming weekend; which i hate doing. I am going to be at my dad's this weekend so I had to do the party at my mom's last Saturday. Any way this weekend was a blast. First we ate dinner my choice: crab legs, dirty mashed, shrimp, and spinach. Then we ate cake and mint ice cream. Next i opened my funny cards and gifts. Finally we watched movies , played darts, and pool. It was funny when we played darts because my brother got a bulls-eye.

Sunday i slept all day and then i watched the Oscars for the rest of the night.

Study habits...

Blog Post of the Day:

Tell me what you believe this cartoon is trying to say. Do you agree or disagree with this idea? Try and look at this from two different perspectives. What is your perspective? What would be an adult/teacher's perspective?

This cartoon is saying to me that all countries education systems are great; except USA. The people in the other countries study and our smart, but Americans slack off and our dumb. That as Americans we don't care about education at all. I think its stereotypical and offensive to the USA.  I don't agree with this picture at all. Just because we are Americans doesn't mean were lazy. Sure some people in America might be lazy and don't care, but it doesn't mean that all of us are. All around the world their are people in countries who don't care about education; not just the USA. I think from a teachers perspective this would be very offensive  especially to them.

Blog Post of the Day:

Tell me all about your weekend! I sure hope you have photos to share.

This weekend when i got home from school my cold got worse. It was one of the worst weekends i have had due to my cold. I almost went to the emergency room at one point for a different reason. We had some guests over this weekend so that was fun. Finally, on Sunday i gave my dogs a bath; now that was crazy.  We have to hipper dogs named Dellla and Charlee.

Quote...

Blog Post of the Day:

Think about the quote below. What does this mean to you? How could this apply to your life? How could this apply to your school work?  I would love to give you less work in class if it meant you were going to focus harder on the work. Do you think you would get more out of it? Would that work for you? Why or why not?

The quote means to me that is that take your time on things don't just rush through them. People can apply this to their school work by focusing on their school work or homework better. Yes, i think so that way we don't have to rush through things just to get them done. Will be able to take our time.

My global issue...

Blog Post of the Day:

Tell me about some interesting things you have learned about your global issue so far. What have you learned that you didn't know before? Include a couple images from the internet if possible. (Make sure to cite images that are not your own.)

I have learned that there is no cure for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. but there are many ways to help manage it. I also have learned that they bruise really easily, so most of the time there body is covered with bruises. This illness is very painful for the people who have it. I would say the only thing cool about the disease is that the people who have Ehlers-Danblos Syndrome are double jointed. Finally, I have learned that it gets passed down through genetics.

Sweetheart....

Blog Post of the Day:

You haven't had a chance to tell me about your Sweetheart weekend yet - tell me about it now! Include photos if you have them. Even if you just laid around on the couch and watched Netflix, tell me all about it.

My friends and i didn't go to sweetheart, so we hanged out instead. We went to Town Center at 6:00 and ate at Panera. After that we were going to go see a movie, but changed our minds. Instead we went shopping even though it was cold and raining. Then,  we went to Walgreens to by pepto because i had a horrible stomach ache all night and i needed to take something for it. Next, Grace's mom picked us up and drove us to ana's house where we spent the night. All night we played video games, ate food, and watch youtube.

Emails...

Blog Post of the Day:

What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"? EXPLAIN.

An email is a form of communication through technology. Now a days personally i think people use email more for formal messages rather than informal ones. I don't email my friends to ask them something because why would i do that if i can just quickly text them. People use email with work, asking your teacher a question, and sending your friends important school related stuff.  Email etiquette  is writing an email in the formal, respectful, and proper way.
