My Final Projects....

Interview 1 Here is my first interview I interviewed my Grandma Monie, so my dad's mom.I thought what was most interesting was that my Grandpa met her in the most classical usual way. He met her at a dance and asked for a dance again and again.

Interview 2 Here is my second interview on my Grandma and Grandpa Hakke. I thought the must interesting thing was that a sausage stuffer is passed down from generation to generation on my Grandpa Jim's side.

Email to Family Member I wrote the email to my Aunt Diana. My Grandma Monie keep's track on all of our family history, but she doesn't have an email. Because of this I decided to email my Aunt who has been taking care of her for quite a while now. She later emailed back to me saying that she could help me.

Family Echo Tree This is an outline of the family history. It gets pretty complicated and we have a lot of family.

This prezi has someone of my family members, about 15, with information on them. I also put some pictures up to make it more interesting.  The info-graphic I have below has some information on where we came from, what illnesses are in the family, and how long has each side live for the most.

Never give up...

Blog Post of The Day:

Read THIS blog post by a teacher. I mean actually read it. Take it in. Think about it. And then, write about it. What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is.

I think this blog post is very inspiring to both teachers and students. Most teachers can relate to this blog post on how much they care about their students.  This is an important quote for students to read to help motivate them to do better. The main event is being able to deal with hardships throughout our lives. Also being able to solve those problems without giving up at any point in time. Another thing is to be able to push away temptations for the persons great or good. The main event is adversity. The teacher is trying to say that most of all the students are quitters in some way and that they need to stop doing that to be able to prepare them for a good life. I like this blog post very much because it gets me motivated and helps be start to see the bigger aspect of school.

Stop-motion animation 2...

Blog Post of the Day:

Blog about your second stop-motion animation.

Taylor F. and I are going to do a stop- motion animation together about two cars racing. We are going to do this project by the commons at BVHS. The camera and some of the props are from my house; the rest of the props are Taylor's. The props are 2 big cars and stuffed animals. We are also using tape to represent the starting line and finishing line.

Reviewing..

GIANT blog post of the day:

Answer the following questions thoroughly on your blog.
  1. What was your stop motion animation about? Why did you choose your video to be about this? Was it because it was easy, because it would be fun, or it would be challenging? Explain your reasoning behind your project (and be honest).
  2. If you could rate your stop motion on a 1-10 scale. 1 being low effort and no very good and 10 being out of this world/mindblowing, how would you rate your project? Explain why.
  3. In hindsight, what would you do differently the second time around? Better lighting? Time management? Explain yourself.
  4. Explain what makes your stop motion animation unique. How do you believe you thought "outside of the box" on this project?
  5. What grade do you feel you deserve on this project? Explain your reasoning.

(1) My stop-motion animation was about Cowboy Eeyore and his horse going on an adventure to his friend's house. On the way there he picked up some of his other friends and gave them a ride to where ever they needed to go. For this video I used stuffed animals and my toy horse I used to ride when I was little. I got this video idea when i was in the basement and  saw my old horse, that is also why I used the stuffed animals. I thought this video would be challenging for me but fun to do.
(2) I would rate my video at an 8 or 9  because I think the video that made is interesting. I worked extremely hard on this video and it took me 3 days to do it. The video idea that I  thought of  was cool and  it might have been done before, but with a western twist on it. The only two things I can say bad about the video was that the lighting changed a bit and the camera moved around badly at one point in the video.
(3) The only thing I would do differently would be to get a tripod to make the video better.  By having one it would have made things easier for me. I hated not having one it was difficult trying to take a picture exactly the same ( angle wise) as the other one  I took before. That's part of the reason why I took double photos of everything; which led me to having a million pictures though.
(4) One of things that made my video unique was the horse that I used. Also creating it in to a western theme story was pretty interesting to me.
(5) I feel like I deserve at least an 85- 90 percent on this because I really put my best effort into making this.  I enjoyed doing this project a lot because I am into anything photography related and I  like to try new things.

Prom...

Blog Post of the Day:

3 day weekend... how was it? Give me a good story or something funny that happened this weekend. Go.

This weekend my  happy sister and her friends went to prom. When she got back from prom she said it was a blast, but she didn't when anything though. I swear our family has bad luck rather than good luck. While she was at prom my friend came over and we hanged out.  We talked about some deep-down things that were bothering us while sitting outside by the fire. The next day we met with our other friends and went to see The Longest Ride.  I wasn't expecting the movie to be that good. Monday, at my moms the basement flooded, so  all day we were working on cleaning and drying the basement.  Though it was worth it because now the basement is finally organized.

Stop-motion animation...

Blog Post of the Day:

Tell me ALL about what your idea is for your stop-motion animation. I need detail. Who is going to help you take photos? What props do you need? Where do you plan on shooting? EXPLAIN everything.

My stop- motion animation video is going to be making my great-great grandma's cinnamon-roll recipe. What's going to be making the food is either going to be its self or  doll of some kind. I might for the doll use: another cinnamon roll, random doll, or make a pastry doll made of dough.  I'm going to be using my mom's camera and make the film with natural light. My mom and me are going to be making the video together. I am going to shoot the shoot in the kitchen at my mom's house. My plot is either going to be just making the cinnamon rolls; or i am going to have the cinnamon rolls be eaten with one remaining and that cinnamon roll is going to make some more.

CHANGE OF PLANS:
I was going to do that recipe, but then I called my grandma and she said it would take all day. I knew it wouldn't work out , so i decided to do a different stop- motion animation. My new plan is to get all my stuff animals and my toy ride horse ,when i was little, out. I going to have stations throughout my backyard of animals siting there waiting to be picked up by the horse and the rider. The rider is going to be Eeyore, from Winnie the Pooh, with a purple bandanna around his neck. I am going to  do this on my own and at my mom's in the backyard. Everyday, until it's due, I am going to go to my mom's and take pictures until it gets dark outside.

Easter weekend..

Blog Post  of the Day:

Tell me all about your weekend and please share photos!

Easter weekend was amazing! On Friday we went to my grandma's house in German-town, Illinois.  We never go back  there for Easter so i was thrilled to see how it would go. We go there at 10:00 so i fell asleep right away. Saturday my cousins came over and we hanged out all day. That day was relaxing we watched the basketball games and we talked about how are lives were.  We also got to stop at our other grandma's house. Sunday we had the big eater dinner and then left back for Kansas. Before that though we got eater baskets which were filled with candy. The ride back home was long and tiring , but it was worth it.
